The one and only, Ben Beck

Updated: Jul 16, 2020

He wasn’t born in a barn, but he practically grew up in one.

My best friend and husband, Ben Beck, grew up on a farm raising beef cattle and working at his family’s farm equipment business. When he isn’t working, he likes to spend his free time doing some more work. He loves nothing more than spending long, hot days in the barn working on equipment, taking care of cattle or tinkering with machines. His hardworking spirit and entrepreneurial drive are just two of the many reasons I love him.

He and I had the same major and went to the same university, but met while on a short study abroad trip to China. I did not realize our first date was a date. In contrast, he was so nervous he spilled ice cream down his shirt. He’s real smooth. Around three years later, we were married.

We live together in Denton, Texas. We moved to the area because he works for Kubota Tractor Corporation as a Market Research Support Specialist. With his job he travels all over the United States and Canada to connect with people using or selling Kubota’s products. I am jealous of all the traveling he gets to do.

A very proud Eagle Scout and servant leader, Ben helps at our church’s community garden, The Garden of Eat’n. He enjoys helping those in need and has a generous and humble heart.

I’m so proud of all he has accomplished so far, but Ben also aspires to be a leader in the farm equipment industry, help run the family business and run a successful cattle operation.
